The Mill is a coffee and food establishment in Albany, Minnesota. The business aims to increase communal support and the love for coffee and food. What sets The Mill apart is its diverse range of offerings, including coffee drinks, wine, beer, mimosas, breakfast, flatbreads, paninis, and salads. The Mill opened in January 2025 and is founded by two coffee-loving ladies!
about the owners
It all started because two cousins (Tom and James) brought together their two wives (Dawn and Christina)

​During a routine hair appointment on Valentine’s Day 2023, a simple question was asked, “What is your dream job?” One answer, “A Varsity Cheerleading Coach.” The other, “a professional coffee taste tester.” Well the cheerleading coach decided the other was a more realistic goal. By the end of that hair appointment the name, place, and ambience was decided. The four got together and the husbands agreed that “The Mill” would be the perfect name to honor its predecessor, the legendary Albany Roller Mill.
